White papers, for those unfamiliar with the format, are papers written on a subject by someone with some knowledge in the field. White papers are not necessarily peer-reviewed, and are generally self-published. Unless otherwise noted, peer-review is not present in these papers! Comments, suggestions, and criticism should be addressed to the authors.
